Writers of all genres—poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, children’s literature—are invited to read your original work on love/romance/passion to an adoring audience. Plan to read for 5-7 min.

Description:  Bill Shaner [www.billshaner.com] is a business owner and entrepreneur in construction and real estate development, speaker, life coach, and author of Unintended Consequences:  Lessons From A Life Almost Lost.  After surviving a near death experience and left a paraplegic,  Shaner will address how he overcame physical, emotional, and financial tragedy and 'how' others can regain control over their life.  "Control over your life begins with you thoughts, and your thoughts are the only things which you can gain complete control."  

Young Professionals Book Club

Our next book is the current National Book Award Winner and one of the most talked about books out right now. It is Let the Great World Spin, a novel that intertwines the lives of people around NYC witnessing a French acrobat cross the World Trade Center Towers on a tight rope.
